Hattie Lace spent several years using her four sons'
artwork to make their annual family Christmas card. Once the boys grew
older and less interested in participating, she decided to try creating
the designs herself. Hattie says, "I sat down and drew an angel with
knobby knees and big feet. She just seemed to appear before me."
This card caused such a positive reaction among many friends that eventually
Hattie had it printed, and her little greeting card company was begun!
Fortunately, Hattie's delightful illustrations are available for stampers
to enjoy, as well. |
| Monica Lee is an illustrator, watercolorist, and
designer who earned her Bachelor of Science in Graphic Arts. After trotting

greeting cards and invitations. Today, she thoroughly enjoys applying
her creativity and zany perspective to new projects, including rubber
stamps. Monica lives in New England with her biggest supporters: her son
Luke, stepson Connor, and husband Tom. |

Sally Wilson says that life has always been one
creative journey after the other, and her greatest artistic influences
came from her "wonderfully creative and inspirational mum."
But it was her husband, Anthony, who encouraged Sal to market her original
stitchery patterns. Indeed, the creative journey continues with Sal's
venture into designing stamps. From her home in Sydney, Australia, Sal
is the Inky artist who lives farthest away but is always close in heart! |
| We'd also like to recognize the following gifted artists
who have graciously contributed to the current Inky Antics collection:
Ruth Booth, Mary Kerr, Laurie Knight, David LaRochelle, Jazelle Lieske,
Yvonne Perez, Edie Schneider, and Michael Senett. And special thanks to Belva Brown, our talented colorist and card artist, for sharing her creativity with us. |
