CarlaCraft Binding System

Finally, a spiral coil binding system that is portable, inexpensive, and super easy to operate! Make your own journals, address books, calendars, and more. Spiral coils are great because the pages lie completely flat when opened, and the cover can be turned underneath the book.

You'll love the pretty colors available for the coils, which are sold separately below. After punching your holes with the binding system, simply insert the coil into the first hole and twirl it through the rest of them by hand. Trim the coil with scissors (for plastic coils) or a wire cutter (for steel coils), turn under the ends with a long-nose plier, and you're done!

The CarlaCraft Binding System will punch up to five sheets of copy paper or two sheets of cardstock at a time. It also punches lightweight chipboard so you can make sturdy book covers. Create any size booklet you wish, up to 12" long on the bound edge.

Illustrated directions are printed right on the box, and abbreviated instructions are located on the aligner piece itself so you'll never forget how to use it. CarlaCraft Binding System consists of the special hole puncher and aligning tool. The coils (9mm, 18mm, and open stock types) need to be ordered separately below.

CarlaCraft Coils, 9mm

These "regular size" coils (about one-third inch in diameter, similar to the spiral notebooks used in school) will bind up to 50 sheets of 20 lb. paper. Choose from seven vivid colors in plastic and four in steel.

Three of the same color per box; each coil measures 12" long and can be cut to any size you wish with scissors (for plastic coils) or a wire cutter (for steel coils).

Open Stock Coils, 8mm

These 12 new colors are a great complement to the boxed selections. And you can mix and match these open stock coils for even more variety! The 8mm size will hold approximately 45 sheets of 20 lb. paper. Each coil measures 12" long, and they're plastic so just cut them down to the size you need with scissors.

This jumbo size coil is made for binding extra large projects, such as card holders and coupon organizers. It’s designed to hold up to 300 sheets of copy paper. Great for all your SUPER BIG creations!

Long-Nose Plier

Use this 5" long-nose plier to turn under the ends of the CarlaCraftplastic or steel coils and secure your bound projects. Soft comfort grip handles and smooth jaws also work great for jewelry making and beadwork.

Side Cutter Plier

Effortlessly snips through wires up to 1.6 mm, including the CarlaCraft steel coils. Features soft comfort grip handles so it's easy on your fingers. 4 1/2" long.

Perfect Layers Tools

Perfect Layers is a must-have item if you want to create perfect borders, frames and layered effects on your scrapbook pages, cards, or any paper crafting project. Using Perfect Layers, you can cut several different border measurements with no measuring required.

Each tool is designed with a patented "catch lip" that tool hooks onto the edge of the photo or image panel, giving the precise measurement you want. Using a standard craft knife, just cut along the outside of the Perfect Layers tool and repeat for all other sides of your picture or project. Although it's been an essential tool in our stamping kit for years, we never got that excited over an X-Acto knife until we discovered this little gem! With its slim, tapered barrel, this feels and handles almost like a regular ink pen. And the blades are smaller than most other knives', making it easily maneuverable when trimming even the tiniest areas. Best part of all? Keep a bunch of 'em handy at all times. X-Acto knives work best (and are safest to use) with fresh blades. Model HX295 fits our X-Caliber knife.

Cloud Stencil

Make a pretty sky background by creating fluffy clouds with this handy, reusable template. Just apply your favorite light blue dye ink with a sponge (sold separately), lightly dabbing repeatedly over the top edge of the stencil.

Bow-Easy

Are you "bow challenged"? The Bow-Easy tool makes it simple to create perfect bows every time. Use it to tie seven different sizes of mini bows: 3/4", 1", 1 1/4", 1 3/8", 1 3/4", 2 3/8", and 2 3/4".

Fiskars Mini Craft 4" Scissors

The compact size of these scissors makes tiny clips in up-close places fast and easy. Straight, precision-ground blades are super sharp.

We love our Tim Holtz Tonic Scissors for most uses, but we turn to these scissors when cutting out very small or highly detailed items, as well as sheer ribbons. They're also perfect for slicing through the tissue layers of our Honeycomb Paper Pads when making HoneyPOP cards.

Tiny Attacher by Tim Holtz

In Tim's Words:

At first glance, you might be thinking it's "just an ordinary stapler"--but if you know me, something ordinary just wouldn't do. This Tiny Attacher is smaller than a standard stapler and even smaller than a mini stapler. Its unique design allows you to secure ribbons and other elements to your project with a simple squeeze. Leave your assumptions at the door because this clever gadget is about to change the way you attach things to your projects for good...

This "industrial-style" stapler is super sturdy yet squeezes very easily. Stapler includes 100 Tiny Staples, and refills are available separately below.

Tiny Attacher Refill Staples

These refill staples are made for the Tiny Attacher by Tim Holtz...and they really are tiny! For comparison, the photo shows standard staples on the left, small staples in the center, and the Tiny Attacher Staples on the right. Package contains 1550 refill staples.

Tonic Paper Distresser

The distressed look is HOT right now, and this nifty gizmo makes it a snap to create worn edges on your paper and cardstock. Its seven sharp blades are recessed, so it's safe and easy to use. Marvy Embossing Heat Tool

An absolute essential in every stamper's arsenal! With the Heat Tool from Marvy, you’ll have everything you need for faster, easier, worry-free embossing. You can also use it on shrink plastic and puffy paints, in addition to melting extra-thick embossing powder. It has a 6-foot cord and collapsable stand for easy storage. Measures approximately 4 3/4" long. Please note that color of heat tool may vary between hot pink or silver depending upon availability.

Assorted Blending Stumps

These compressed paper stumps act as the "applicator" for our Gamsol liquid blending technique. Simply press the stump gently against the sponge-top dabber bottle containing Gamsol (sold separately); you'll see the stump darken with just the right amount of liquid. Using light pressure with circular motions, blend the colored pencil lines of your stamped image. Pull the color toward the center of the image with your stump to achieve a shaded look. You'll receive one of each size #2, 4, and 6. May be used over and over again; just file off excess color with an emery board or sandpaper until stump is clean.

Multi-Pack Stumps

Our Gamsol fans have been asking for more "stump options," and now we're pleased to offer three additional choices in blending stumps! Convenient multi-packs are available in Small (5 stumps, 1/4" diameter), Medium (4 stumps, 5/16" diameter), and Large (3 stumps, 13/32" diameter). Stock up on your favorite sizes! Made in Taiwan.

Sandpaper Pad

It's sandpaper on a stick! Clean your blending stumps with ease using our convenient little tool. Several mini sheets of sandpapery goodness are attached to a wood board with handle. When you've finished the top sheet, simply rip it off to reveal a new one underneath. Sure, you can use an emery board or regular sandpaper on your stumps...but this inexpensive gadget is the perfect size for popping into your tool bag, and it's a lot more fun to use!

Faber Castell Pencil Sharpener

When we're at home, generally we like to use an electric pencil sharpener with our Prismacolor pencils. But sometimes portability is important, and the Faber Castell pencil sharpener works great! With three different holes, it's suitable for sharpening various lead and colored pencil sizes. The high-grade steel blade facilitates getting a perfect point, and this sharpener is compact and easy to empty.

Pebbles Chalk & Craft Eraser

A nifty mechanical eraser that advances with just a click! Its broad surface is perfect for erasing large areas, while the narrow edge works well for small, hard-to-get-into areas. Works with shimmer or regular chalks, as well as lead and colored pencils. (Although it won't completely erase colored pencils, it's terrific for lightening areas or cleaning up stray marks.) You can also make creative designs in chalk for a "resist" or batik look. Can be refilled.

Prong Pick-Up Tool

For applying chalks, we've used cotton swabs, sponge applicators, and alligator-clip holders with pom poms. They all work just fine, but this handy tool makes chalking a real pleasure! Depress the plunger, and fine metal prongs will extend from the tip to pick up any size pom pom. Release the plunger, and the prongs pull back to grab and hold the pom pom securely. This allows you to hold the tool in your hand like a pencil or pen…what could be simpler? To order pom pom refills separately, click here.

Niji Waterbrush

The ultimate in portability and convenience for a paintbrush! Fill the water compartment, which doubles as a handle, like a turkey baster...unscrew the top and submerge the brush into a cup of water while squeezing. Recap and you're ready to go! Tim Holtz Grid-Blocks

These thin acrylic blocks with laser-etched gridlines in 1/2" increments make it simple to align polymer stamps. Use them over and over with all your clear stamp sets, as well as any cling-mounted stamps you may own.
