Inky Antics was founded in 1997 by Jackie Lewis, a middle school teacher
from St. Paul, Minnesota, who discovered stamping the previous year
and fell hopelessly (but willingly) under its magical spell.
"I stumbled across rubber stamping while looking for activities
I could share with my students during homeroom, but little did
I realize that I'd become completely hooked myself!" she
recalls. "It allows me to express my artistic side, even
though I can't draw at all. There are so many creative possibilities
to explore with stamps."
And explore she did. Jackie transformed her love for stamping into
a cottage industry-hiring talented artists, taking care of all the business
details, and assembling her products at the kitchen table.
Today, Inky Antics stamps are manufactured in Cleveland, Ohio, under
the ownership of Ted Cutts. Jackie works for the company as its Art
Director, and our growing team is proud to continue providing our wonderful
customers with inspiring designs, high quality stamps, and excellent
service.
